        Igreca has long established a healthy and truthful relationship with its suppliers and makes no concession on quality . The great majority of its raw materials – Hen Shell Eggs – comes from farms members of CANA/CAVAL who, in turn, buy their animal feedstuff from CANA/CAVAL feedmills. The prime concern is to ensure traceability and to be assured the farms operate under veterinary control.

Regular audits are also conducted by Igreca SA personnel. In addition to our own standard products, specific egg products are often required, e.g dark or pale coloured Egg Yolk, original physico-chemical functions and guarantee of control of GMO free products in Chicken feedstuff exclusive of vegetal feed, organic production.

Hens are under Veterinary Surveillance.
Respect of the environment is a permanent feature of farming activities.


        As the Shell Eggs arrive at Igreca SA each consignment is identified by bar code. Our production control system enables us to access information identifying the origin of the Eggs for each consignment. From the batch number, it is possible to trace the origin of the eggs.

 

INSPECTION AND SELECTION OF PRODUCTS – FROM THE EGG TO THE EGG PRODUCT.

     

        The different stages of the manufacturing process as well as its environment are supervised by our quality department through a HACCP procedure.
Our laboratory guarantees our customers total bacteriological and physico-chemical security when using our products
.

     Our laboratory is divided into 3 departments :
          · Bacteriology
          · Physico-chemistry
          · Functionality.

        Regular interface with international food manufacturers laboratories as well as with veterinary authorities takes place to cross check our results.

        In the factory every function and activity is specified and recorded to comply with the ISO 9001. Factory employees and senior management personnel undergo regular basic training courses on food hygiene and practices in the food manufacturing.
