1947-2003 : 12 BILLION EGGS PROCESSED BY IGRECA S.A

 
        In 1947, Yves-Aristide Justeau, an brilliant chemical engineer, establishes the first French factory producing egg powder in Angers using a innovative drying process.

        In 1967, the manufacturing operation is relocated to the outskirts of Angers – Beaucouzé -.
Advanced production techniques are introduced and modern equipment is installed to provide a production capacity of 1000 tonnes per annum. Jean-Yves Justeau, widens the activity to include the industrial market.

     From the eighties onwards, the plant develops its export market . The world food industry shows great interest for egg products and IGRECA adapts its product range to suit customers’ requirements.

   
Between 1997 and year 2000, the firm expands and relocates its manufacturing plant to SEICHES SUR LE LOIR. The new 10 hectare site with its 15000sqm plant blends nicely into the rural environment . Experience combined with modern techniques strengthen IGRECA’s as the market leader
